Black Rock Crafted Witbier is brewed to deliver a classic, easy-drinking Witbier flavor with a light, hazy appearance. NZ Green Bullet hops are added at the boil to provide a moderate bitterness, while freshly ground coriander and orange oil enhance the flavor profile.
This Crafted Witbier pours a pale golden color with an SRM of 3, offering a clean and crisp malt profile. The 62% MaltEurop Lager malt and 38% Gladfield Wheat malt provide a light and refreshing body with a subtle sweetness. The bitterness from NZ Hops Green Bullet™ is moderate, contributing to a balanced finish with an IBU of 10. At 4.5% ABV, this Witbier is both sessionable and thirst-quenching, making it perfect for any occasion.

With this in mind, the master brewers at Black Rock have expertly brewed the highest quality fresh wort in a state-of-the-art Krones brewery, using only the finest fresh NZ malt before gently evaporating to 80 brix for your convenience.
For best results, brew Black Rock Crafted Witbier with Black Rock Unhopped Wheat (or a second can of Black Rock Crafted Witbier to boost bitterness) & an 11.5g sachet of Fermentis Yeast: SafAle™ WB-06.
For a craftier option, try 25-75g of dry hop at day 6 of fermentation.
Suggested hop additions:
Traditional Witbier: Use Saaz and/or Hallertau for a mild, herbal, and slightly spicy aroma.
Citrus Witbier: Use Lemondrop™, Mandarina Bavaria, and/or Sorachi Ace for a zesty citrus punch with hints of lemon and orange.
Spicy Witbier: Use Saaz, Tettnang, and/or Perle for a subtle spicy and herbal character.
Tropical Witbier: Use Azacca®, El Dorado®, and/or Sabro® for a burst of tropical fruit flavors like pineapple, mango, and coconut.
