PRODUCT INFORMATION

Black Rock is made using the finest traditional brewing ingredients.    Our brewmaster is the cheif arbiter of quality and with this combination of brewing expertise and fine ingredients, this ensures a premium quality wort from which you, the brewer, can make fine beer.

Ingredients

Two Row Malted Barley   We use the finest two row malted barley
Nelson Hops Nelson hops are high in alpha acid which make them ideal for production of great beers
Water Water quality is important in brewing and New Zealand has some of the purest water in the world
Yeast We use a robust yeast, ideal for brewing in a broad range of environments

The Range

East India Pale Ale A distinctive, medium hopping beer first brewed for the British serving in India
Export Pilsener A traditional Czech beer in the Pilsener style.  Crips, clear and refreshing.
Bock A robust and full flavoured German style dark beer.
Mexican Lager A crisp refreshing lager in a Mexican style
New Zealand Draught New Zealand's own style of full malt draught beer.
Nut Brown Ale A malty, deep amber beer.  Clean tasting with accented malty flavours
Dry Lager A light coloured and refreshing dry lager with a crisp, clean finish
New Zealand Company Bitter Originally brewed in England for the long voyage to New Zealand.  Rich, strong and tasty
Lager A blend of hop varieties produces the characteristic bitterness and aroma of this light and refreshing lager
Miner's Stout The West Coast coal miners meal at the end of the day. Dark, smooth and satisfying
Whispering Wheat Liquid gold with a fruity flavour.  Lively, refreshing for warmer climates
Colonial Lager A New Zealand lager created to satisfy a hard earned thrist
Cider A traditional sparkling cider with a refreshing taste.
